TBT Achieves Consecutive Successes in National Critical Infrastructure Surveillance and Anti-Drone Fields

Incheon Port Authority Enhances 24/7 Port Surveillance with TBT EO/IR Systems
TBT recently completed the successful delivery of three units of its flagship TMS-20M EO/IR system for the Incheon Port Authority’s port security enhancement project.
The objective of this project was to establish a smart port surveillance system capable of providing continuous day-and-night monitoring of key facilities at Incheon Port, while maintaining stable situational awareness even under adverse weather conditions.
In recent years, port security has evolved beyond simple CCTV monitoring into a more advanced system capable of rapidly detecting and responding to various threats such as vessels, vehicles, and intruders at long range. In this environment, TBT’s TMS-20M EO/IR system combines a high-zoom EO camera with a high-performance thermal imaging camera, delivering clear optical imagery during the day and seamless surveillance performance at night or in fog, rain, and smoke through thermal imaging.
This deployment demonstrates that TBT’s EO/IR technology has earned a high level of trust in the national port security sector, and it is expected to serve as an important foundation for future expansion into the smart port and critical infrastructure security markets.

Protecting a National Key Port Through the Yeosu–Gwangyang Port Anti-Drone Defense System
TBT has also confirmed the supply of its TMS-20 EO/IR system and a 600mm NYX cooled thermal imaging module for the Yeosu–Gwangyang Port anti-drone system project, further demonstrating its competitiveness in the domestic port protection market.
Yeosu–Gwangyang Port is one of Korea’s major state-managed ports, playing a critical role in national logistics and the energy industry. In response to growing threats such as illegal drone filming, facility intrusion, and broader security risks, the port has been advancing the deployment of an advanced surveillance system.
In this project, TBT’s EO/IR system will support the rapid identification and tracking of drones by operating in conjunction with radar and RF detection equipment, based on its long-range detection capability and high-precision target tracking performance.
In particular, the 600mm NYX cooled thermal imaging module to be supplied alongside the system provides high-resolution thermal imagery even at long distances, ensuring stable detection performance at night and in adverse weather conditions. It is expected to serve as a core sensor for the protection of nationally important facilities.
This is a meaningful achievement that demonstrates TBT’s position not merely as a thermal imaging camera manufacturer, but as a specialized provider of integrated EO/IR-based anti-drone surveillance solutions.

Anti-Drone Systems Evolving with AI-Based EO/IR Technology
As incidents involving illegal drone intrusion targeting conflict zones and national critical facilities continue to increase around the world, drones are no longer viewed simply as hobby aircraft, but as a new and serious security threat. For national critical infrastructure such as airports, ports, power plants, and military facilities, the importance of anti-drone systems capable of early detection, rapid identification, and persistent tracking has never been greater.
In this environment, EO/IR cameras serve as the “eyes” of anti-drone systems, acting as the core sensor that provides final identification and continuous tracking of targets initially detected by radar and RF detection equipment.
TBT’s TMS-20 series delivers long-range surveillance performance based on high-performance EO and thermal imaging cameras, while also applying AI-based object recognition and auto-tracking (AI Auto Detection & Tracking) technology. This enables the system to automatically recognize and continuously track a wide range of objects including drones, vehicles, vessels, and people, in real time.
By reducing the burden on operators while supporting rapid and accurate situational response, the system ensures stable operational performance even in complex surveillance environments.

Going forward, TBT will continue to advance its AI video analytics and EO/IR fusion technologies, leading the next generation of anti-drone and integrated surveillance solutions responsible for protecting national critical infrastructure across airports, ports, defense, and industrial facilities.
